Hello Penny is the fintech app that helps young people learn how to manage their finances and save money. With the app in your pocket, you get a really good overview of your entire finances while getting lots of great tips for a financially smart lifestyle.
As a new app in finance and savings, the upstart Hello Penny wants to convey a sense of simplicity and playfulness. The savings makers behind the app wanted to develop a design direction and a new logo, creative UX copy for both the app and the website, which reflects their well-read but laid-back way of talking about finances in other channels.
I brought out a logo alluding to the toy slinky that stacks up and down like a trave of coins. When Hello Penny starts creating content, this visual idea can be further developed and the slinky can be illustrated as a signature for Hello Penny.
